"The Living Word of the Sikh Scriptures" is a one-hour documentary, currently in production, that explores the profound significance of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the central religious scripture of Sikhism.
 

This will be one of the first American documentaries to attempt to illustrate the rich history, and the shared values of unity and love that are central to the Sikh Scriptures. The documentary will explore how central the Sikh scriptures are to Sikh worship and daily prayer, how its devotional poetry has the power to connect the Sikh with the divine, and how its values of equality and absolute oneness can be a salve for our divided world.
 

The program is being produced by Auteur Productions, Ltd. in association with Stone Soup.  Auteur Productions have produced seven feature documentaries on religion which have been broadcast on public television nationwide.  Their most recent film, "Religion, Racism, & Reconciliation" was nominated for a Regional Emmy for Best Historical Documentary.
